Editorial Team

A small, independent team of writers, researchers, and developers who believe AI tools deserve honest, hands-on reviews.

Our standards

How the team works

Every reviewer follows the same editorial guidelines. These are the principles that keep our reviews honest.

Hands-on testing

Every tool is tested hands-on where we have access. Where we can't run a tool ourselves, we combine documented testing with sourced user feedback from public reviews and communities — and we say which is which.

Clear scoring

Each review uses a published rubric covering features, ease of use, output quality, value, and support. You can see exactly how we arrived at a score.

Affiliate transparency

Some links are affiliate links. That never affects our ratings or which tools we recommend. We say so on every page and in our full disclosure.

Reader corrections

Tools change fast. If we get something wrong or a tool updates, readers flag it and we update the review. Every correction is dated.

Behind every review

Our review process

01

We use the tool

A reviewer spends at least one week using the tool for real tasks where possible. For tools we couldn't test directly, we aggregate and cite real user reports and label them as such.

02

We score it

Each tool is scored on features, ease of use, output quality, value, and support. The rubric is the same across every review.

03

We publish and update

The review goes live with pros, cons, pricing, and a rating. We re-test when there is a major update or at least every six months.
